Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you'll need to make Tomato White Sauce Gratin!
This recipe serves 5 to 6 people. If you make too much, eat it for breakfast the next day.
- Canned chopped tomatoes 1 can (400g)
- Heinz White Sauce 1 can (290g)
- Macaroni for gratin 1 bag (150g), 9-minute cooking time
- Onion 1 to 2, thinly sliced
- Garlic 1 to 2 cloves, minced
- Butter 20g to 30g
- Chicken thigh 250g, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt, pepper (for seasoning)
- Broccoli
- Pizza cheese about 3 handfuls
- Breadcrumbs a little
Instructions:
1. First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius!
2. Let's boil the macaroni! Dissolve 10g of salt (not listed in ingredients) in 1 liter of boiling water and add the macaroni. Drain when cooked.
3. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat, sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the onion and chicken thigh and sauté.
4. When the chicken thigh turns white, add the canned chopped tomatoes. Heat over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring to evaporate the moisture from the tomato can! This is the key point of this recipe!
5. Add the canned white sauce and the macaroni boiled in step 2. Heat over medium heat, stirring evenly!
6. Once well mixed, taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper!!!
7. Transfer to an oven-safe dish and spread evenly. Arrange the broccoli nicely. Sprinkle with pizza cheese, scatter breadcrumbs, and bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes!!
8. Once baked, carefully remove from the oven and enjoy, being careful not to burn yourself!
